Eugenia Loli was forbidden to study drawing by her parents, despite being better than all the other kids her age; her colourful past sets her apart from every other art school scribbler.
Eugenia Loli was born in Athens, Greece. It wasn’t long before Eugenia started pairing up her digital knowledge with her creative skills and artistic sensibilities. With her surreal collages of unlikely couples kissing, ladies lunching, giant goldfish, and snowy mountainscapes, Eugenia has managed to carve out a cult like status for herself online, with her work popping up all over the place from Wired Magazine, New Scientist, and Cosmopolitan out next month. The nurse-turned-programmer-turned-journalist-turned-artist first began exploring digital collages in 2013 by scanning images from old vintage magazines and science textbooks that she assembled in Photoshop and shared on her Tumblr.
